The operating boundary behind SawMatch’s recommendations.
What SawMatch can do
It can organize blade-selection variables, identify reviewed applications, highlight fit checks, and expose common hazards.
What it cannot do
It cannot inspect the tool, blade, workpiece, guard, wiring, hidden utilities, operator training, local rules, or work environment. It is not permission to make a cut.
Stop conditions
- The tool manual and blade label disagree.
- The blade is damaged or its rating is unreadable.
- Diameter, arbor, RPM, shank, kerf, plate, or guard fit is uncertain.
- The material may contain asbestos, lead, silica, pressure, stored energy, live wiring, or unknown contaminants.
- The work cannot be secured and supported.
